Why most people prefer windows xp to linux?

this is because


1)windows are easy to use.XP is more user friendly
2) most people don't know about linux.
3)most people don't know what linux is capable of.
4)XP is more user friendly. Windows has a firm grip on business and educational institutes. Many people need to run programs that are only made for Windows. Linux is geared more to advanced users. It is capable of doing everything Windows does, it will even run Windows programs with Wine. Linux used to be a pain in the butt to even install. Linux has made huge improvements over the last 5 years that have made it much more user friendly. MACs are based off of Linux. They are both great OSes but Linux is FREE!!
5)Linux has a reputation for being difficult, which is false
6) People are scared to try new things, especially if it was difficult for them to learn what they already know.
